 Ever
since the foundation of The Spinal Cord Paralytics Society of
Turkey, we have achieved many International and Domestic projects
with a great success. With the honor of the previous successful
social and cultural activities, TOFD has already completed the study
the 3rd Smiling Child Festival to be held in April, 2008
As
it is known,
“23
April,
National Sovereignty and Children's Day” has been dedicated to
children by the Great pioneer Ataturk and it has been celebrated
only in our
country. The 1st smiling child festival in 2006, there
were 500 disabled-non disabled children from 12 countries and 8
cities of Turkey. However, in the 2nd smiling child
festival in 2007, there were 750 disabled-non disabled children from
26 countries and 8 cities of Turkey and they gave “more unimpeded
world” message from Istanbul to entire world.
Our festival will be
actualized with the participation of 12 countries including Turkey.
There will be 360 disabled – non-disabled
children in the 3rd smiling child festival and they will
perform cultural & artistic shows.
The whole civil community foundations, students and
disabled-non disabled citizens may participate to the festival as
spectator.
The
aim of festival is to gather disabled & non-disabled chidren all
together and issue a public opinion message
“the
unimpeded world” from Istanbul to entire
world
