Gala Dinner
And the last night! In Ýstanbul Feshane Fair Congress Culture Centre everyone came together for the last time at the gala dinner given by the Ýstanbul Metropolit Municipality. At the Gala Night there was an atmosphere of both happiness and sadness.
The concert, performed by Ferhat Göçer, was a scene of marvelous music time. Among those who shared the happiness in the Gala Dinner were Kadir Topbaþ chairman of Ýstanbul Metropolit Municipality and his wife Özleyiþ Topbaþ, Mehmet Seyman Ýstanbul Sub-governor, Celalettin Cerrah Ýstanbul Chief Constable and his wife, head consulates of many countries, Hasan Albayrak, general manager of higher Learning credit and dormitory Association, Bakýrköy Head Official, County Mayors and the Famous names of the show world Mehmet Ali Erbil and his wife, Sinemis Candemir and famous names of the business world; Ýnci-Yüksel Mermer, Kazým Albayrak, Asiye- Mustafa Kefeli and civilian society association Representatives.
Everybody especially the children were dreaming of the Ýnternational Smiling Child Festival to be organized next year when saying good bye to the guests in tears, promises were given by the guests to come together in Turkey as a growing family.
Turkish Association of Spinal Cord Ýnjuries had accomplished the meaningful Organization. Although there were some set-backs that weren’t reflected to the guests but with no doubt, I think this organization couldn’t have been accomplished if there hadn’t been valuable effort from Civil Organizations and sacrifice and the effort of the volunteers.
