THE AIM OF THE
3rd SMILING CHILD FESTIVAL
The prior aim to actualize the festival, the great
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk had awarded the April 23rd
“National
Sovereignty and Children's Day”
to all world children. In this regard, to save our children’s future
and combine the disabled children with the others among developing
countries. Children are our future and protecting their rights is
our primary obligation.
The disabled-healthy
children that will come to Turkey from various countries will share
the culture, hospitality, historical places -natural beauties and
they will spend unforgettable days in the world of wonder city.
The whole disabled-healthy children will give “love,
peace, and friendship” - “the unimpeded world”
message which all barriers may be removed from Istanbul to
entire world. There will also be international and domestic media in
the festival as well. This will considerably promote extra
contribution Turkey to be known internationally
SCOPE OF ORGANIZATION
Our organization has been arranging “International Smiling Child
Festival” in accordance with various activities and along with
“National
Sovereignty and Children's Day”.
Our
festival
is inviting Disabled and None-disabled children in one place to
prove and give a message to all public opinion via media “Removing
barriers faced according to Equal Human Rights”. Our festival is
taking place with sponsors, mainly Office of Prime minister,
Istanbul Municipality and Istanbul Governorship.
As we tried to outline our aim above, the
3rd smiling child festival will be taken place and
performed at Feshane Culture & congress center from 09:00 to 18:00
hours. Apart from this festival, another celebration “Smiling World
Night” will be held at 20:00 with participation & supports of
consulates in Istanbul, the world foods will be offered on the same
day.
With the contribution
of 11 countries, the
3rd smiling child festival will be realized with 360
disabled-non disabled children and they will show their cultural,
artistic plays. The whole civil community foundations, students and
disabled-non disabled citizens may participate to festival as
spectator.
